Mezuzah - Mezuza

The Mezuzah is a small scroll of parchment upon which two passages from the Torah are inscribed by a religious scribe, called a Sofer Stam.

The parchment is rolled up and placed inside a Mezuzah case and affixed to all doorways and to the entrance to the home.

The Mezuzah case comes in different sizes (depending on the size of the parchment) and is made of different materials.
